PROJECT

The District has contracted the Engineering firm of Cerrone Associates, located in  Wheeling, WV to desig


 

RED HILL SEWAGE PROJECT

The District has contracted the Engineering firm of Cerrone Associates, located in  Wheeling, WV to design  a Sewage collection extension project, for the Red Hill, Dutch Ridge and  Mill Run Road areas of our District. .

The new collection system will consist of gravity flow and pressure main's, Grinder pump's will be utilized where gravity flow is not applicable.

There will be approximately 340 potential customers to be supplied with sewer service in this project area.

 

Construction is nearly complete.

 

Contract # 1 : FAMCO Inc., St. Albans, WV

Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade

 

Contract # 2 : Stonegate Construction Inc., Belpre Ohio

Phase 1:   Construct a wastewater collection system for the Red Hill, Dutch Ridge, Mill Run Road and Scenic Hills areas.

Phase 2:   Construct a wastewater collection system for the Red Peek Circle, Winding Road and Forrest Hills areas, and install a sewage lift station in Davisville to serve the PWP Industries recycling facility.


 

RISER RIDGE LAUREL FORK WATER LINE EXTENSION

 

The District has contracted the Engineering firm of Cerrone Associates, located in  Wheeling, WV  to design  a water line extension project.

The project will serve the Riser Ridge, Volcano, Borland Springs, Jericho Road, Doyle, Dry Run Road (Off Rt. 47), Rising Sun Road, Love Hill, Oak Grove Road, Rock Run Rd, Ewing Ridge, Shiloh-Tallyho, Laurel Creek.

The project  will consist of approximately twenty seven miles of water line and serves an estimated 300 new customers, at an estimated cost of $3,650,000.

The project is expected to be put out for construction bids in the Spring of 2010.

District personnel along with Cerrone Assoc employees are actively obtaining rights-of-ways and acquiring customer user agreements and accepting tap fees.   (Tap Fee $100.00 before construction)
